Functional extensions
Several functional extension options are available for EFS. These can be fully integrated into the software. The advantage of the modular system is that the extensions can be purchased at a later date and only as needed.

EFS Mobile Extension: Quantitative research via mobile devices and BlackBerrys
Due to the increasing popularity of internet-enabled mobile devices, the number of possible participants in online surveys is growing. EFS Mobile Extension prepares surveys in such a way that they are optimized for use on WAP-enabled mobile phones and BlackBerrys. EFS Mobile Extension can also be linked automatically to an SMS and WAP Push provider. This allows the method of invitation to be adapted for the target audience.

EFS Conjoint Extension: Adaptive conjoint analyses
EFS Conjoint Extension makes it possible to generate and implement Adaptive Conjoint Analyses (ACA) in web-based surveys. The participant is confronted with two response options in each phase of the survey and chooses one of them. On the basis of the responses the software calculates the response options for the participant in the next phase. The preferences of the respondent are arranged in a sequence during the survey process. In this way, price and product preferences, for example, can be determined.

EFS Hybrid Extension: Integration of paper-based surveys
EFS can also be extended to include the option of conducting paper-based surveys. After creating an online survey, EFS Hybrid Extension automatically generates a questionnaire which can be printed and filled out manually. The results can be integrated again into the electronic total results data set, manually or automatically depending on their quantity.
