The EFS Panel extended range of services
Two functional extension options can be fully integrated into the software. One advantage of the modular system is that the extensions can also be purchased at a later date and only as needed.
Adaptive conjoint analyses (ACA)
The EFS Conjoint Extension facilitates the creation and implementation of adaptive conjoint analyses (ACA) in web-based surveys. At each survey stage, the participant is faced with a choice of two response options. On the basis of the responses given, the software calculates which questions and responses should be presented to the respondent at the next stage. The respondent’s preferences are ranked during the course of the survey. In this way, for example, price and product preferences can be determined.
Research with mobile devices
The EFS Mobile Extension prepares surveys for optimal use on WAP-enabled mobile phones and BlackBerrys. The extension can also automatically interface with SMS and WAP Push providers. This allows the method of invitation to be adapted for the target group.
Application flexibility
EFS Panel has an open system architecture with individual design options. The software offers the user a wide range of options for expanding its range of functions. For example, it is possible to develop user-defined questions in Adobe Flash or HTML and program Javascript-based extensions or PHP plug-ins. EFS Panel also has syntax interfaces that enable advanced users to work with the software quickly and efficiently using scripting.
Exchange data with external systems
Major benefits are also available with EFS Panel’s application programming interface (API). Using the EFS Web Services interface and integration technology, the software can be set up to exchange data with external systems. Information can be exchanged with other software packages creating wide-ranging possibilities for setting up automated feedback processes. EFS Panel can, for example, interface with a customer relationship software, enabling customer profile data within a CRM system to be imported automatically into EFS Panel. It is also possible to link the software with an external inventory control system, allowing incentives to be managed by third parties. There are almost no technical restrictions on this. Data transmission using EFS Web Services is based on compatible standards and can be configured regardless of the technical aspects of heterogeneous IT environments.
